Schedule:
- Shift: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Days: Any two weekdays plus Saturday and Sunday (total of 4 days/week)
- Perfect part-time opportunity for caregivers seeking consistent morning hours.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Hoyer lift for client transfers and provide wheelchair assistance
- Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for the client
- Complete light housekeeping tasks including:
- Making the bed and tidying the room
- Cleaning the bathroom after use
- Folding and putting away clean laundry
- Taking out trash and maintaining a clean environment
- Provide hands-on personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Assist with bed/sponge baths, grooming, oral care, skin care, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene
- Monitor and support client safety, comfort, and emotional well-being
- Provide companionship, engagement, and light exercise as appropriate
- Demonstrate great communication skills with English proficiency to ensure clear and compassionate interaction with the client and care team

- Certification not required but must be able to provide verification of any certifications held
- 3 or more years of experience or equivalent caring for bed-bound clients
- Experience using a Hoyer lift required
- Previous experience in hospice, nursing home, home health, or other related fields is a plus
- Reliable, punctual, and compassionate
- Must pass national and multi-jurisdictional background checks, Department of Motor Vehicle checks, as well as TB and drug screening tests
- Must be able to meet quality standards of care during shifts and follow standard procedures for engaging with the rest of the care team
- Must possess a valid driver’s license or photo ID and dependable transportation required
